The deficit and waste are Musk’s primary arguments in favor of massive cuts in Social Securty and other programs for workers so that there cna be a correpsonding massive cut in the taxes paid by the wealthy. Misdirection.

A government deficit is not in itself a danger to the economy or the government. Musk’s real goal is to strip the working class of Social Security, Medicare, and other social safety nets.

Personal debt and government debt are inherently different because a government can print its own money.

This may be another example of Elon Musk having a third grade understanding of compex issues or it may be another example of Elon Musk deliberately commiting fraud to further his own financial interests.

Either way, his claim is false.
