Congress has unveiled this stop gap spending bill to avert a government shutdown, but two Trump advisors are telling ABC News now that the president-elect is against this proposed bill. The bipartisan bill would avoid a Friday shutdown deadline that would impact thousands of federal employees and keep the government funded through March 14th. Another critic of the bill is nillionaire Elon Musk, the co-chair of Trump’s new Department of Government Efficiency. In fact, he’s taken to social media to his platform X say quote this bill should not pass. Johnson responding to the feedback in an interview [on Fox News] "They understand the situation. Elon Musk went beyond calling for DOGE to fire large numbers of government workers, he is now calling for a couple of billionaires be allowed to end the careers of elected politicians based on highly negative claims that are not proven with either a trial or an impeachment.
Elon Musk wants billionaires to be allowed ot override elections by the lowly common people.

Foreign aid serves two basic purposes:
1. To help other people. Sure there is corruption, but not anywhere near the level of corruption as when the government shovels money to large corporations.
2. Most foreign aid isn’t for helping people, it is purchasing services from other governments that are viewed as being valuable to the interests of the U.S government (supposedly for the U.S. people), such as paying Israel and Egypt not to go to war against each other so oil and goods can more freely flow through the Suez Canal.

Depicting programs that assist the working class and the poor as programs that are feasts for the wealthy is deeply dishonest.
