This website is not intended to ridicule Elon Musk, but rather highlight the harm to society caused by billionaire oligarches by showing why it is unwise to place so much power, influence, and admiration into the hands of a man who clearly appears to be a narcissist and clearly appears to have the mental abilities of an arrogant selfish bullying eight year old boy.
Elon Musk has had a long history of pretending that he understands logic, mathematics, science, engineering, computer programming, and information technology, but his public comments reveal an understanding at the level of a lazy entitled rich eight year old brat.

There are numerous problems in large scale government computer systems, but it is a horrible idea to have an uneducated rich kid who cosplays as an engineer messing with them. That’s worse than a drunken bull in a china shop. We all see how much worse Twitter has become under Musk’s ownership.
Contrary to Musk’s claims, some government computer systems, especially weapons systems, are high quality cutting edge technology. The internet was invented by ARPA (forerunner of the modern DARPA).

Because Musk knows little about computer programming, he doesn’t know the latest version (COBOL 2023) includes asynchronous messaging, low level logic and shift operations, and number base conversions.
COBOL is not the same as it was in 1959.
Over the years COBOL has been updated with new technology as it became available.
In 2002 COBOL had object oriented programming and other advanced paradigms added.
COBOL has features specialized for handling money and finance, some that don’t exist in any other language.
There is a reason that COBOL dominates computing in the banking and finance industries.
