Ignoring for the moment the legal requirements for regulation change (adding new ones, deleting old one, even modifying existing ones), let’s just take one example, the federal regualtions on safe drinking water. The EPA sets legal limits on over 90 contaminants in drinking water. How do Musk and Trump intend to decide which 90% of the dangerous chemicals currently banned from safe drinking water should be allowed?

Remember that Musk squealed loudly when California enforced earthquake construction standards on a giant unpermitted rickerty sign on the top of a tall building and the federal government enforced safe drinking water standards when Musk dumped toxic rocket fuel into the Texas water supply.
