A lot of Democrats and Democratic Party fans are asserting that Republicans voted for Trump over the price of eggs (or groceries more generally) but that Trump’s policies will drive up the price of eggs.

This assertion sometimes assumes that everyone is wealthy and that the price of eggs or food doesn’t matter because the Biden economy was great. While not held by all of the proponents of the egg claims, this shows a disconnect with the working class and the poor.

While stock prices, especiially war related stock prices, have grown dramatically, the Census Bureau (while under control of the Biden administration announced in 2021 that the poverty rate was up 7.8%, at the time the largest increase in poverty in US history. The Census Bureau then announced a12.4% increase in poverty in 2022. More recent figures are not available at the time I write this.

According to President Joe Biden, child poverty has increased two fold.

According to Vice President Kamala Harris, 2/3 of Americans are $400 from becoming homeless.

According to the Biden administration, 141 million Americans (of 334.9 million total) or 42.1% of Americans are officially considered poor or low income.

According to the Biden administration, 1/3 of American families can not afford a basic monthly budget.

According to the Biden administration, at least one million Americans are homeless (indepednent charities often much higher estimates).

According to the Biden administration, more than 230 million Americans have no health insurance.

The Biden administration, which receives most of its campaign funding from billionaire oligarchs (more than one billion total dollars just for Kamala Harris), just like Trump does, often the same billionaires, has refused to upset its donors and refused to use existing laws to help Americans.

Almost all of the increase in food prices has been from price gouging by the handful of large corporations that control most of the US food market. Biden refused to use existing antitrust laws to roll back prices, break up the giant food corporations, and prosecute the CEOs and other top executives.

The Biden administration cut federal help for food, clothing, medicine, housing, and other support for the poor the working class.

The Democrats refused to raise the minimum wage. The Senate Parliamentarian was a ruse. The position of Senate Parliamentarian didn’t exist until 1935. The Senate Majority Leader can fire the Parliamentarian at any time (without giving a reason) and appoint a new one. The Senate Majority Leader and the Vice President both have the authority to overrule the Parliamentarian at any time. Republican VP Nelson Rockefeller overruled Senate Parliamentarian Floyd Riddick in 1975 regarding filibuster rules in a Democratic controlled Senate. In 2001, Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott fired Senate Parliamentarian Robert Dove over the Byrd Rules.

The Democrats at the request of President Joe Biden rushed through a law in just three days that outlawed the right to strike for railroad workers. The RR workers had voted to strike over unsafe working conditions. The East Palestine, Ohio, disaster was a direct result of those unsafe working conditions. The Biden adminstration was pruposely slow responding to the disaster because it occurred in a republican voting district, covered up the extent of the danger, and only provided assistance to businesses in the are. Norfolk Southern donated $250,000 to an Ohio-based non-profit providing aid to the people that Biden refused to provide.

The Democrats have left the workiing class to suffer extreme poverty. Both the Democrats and the Republicans are equally anti-worker and anti-poor in their policies and attitudes.

The Democrats, most notably California Governor Gavin Newsom, have led the legal battles to strip the homeless of human rights, steal the meager possessions of the homeless, and criminalize homelessness to provide free slave labor to their corporate donors.

As California Attorney General, Kamala Harris disobeyed a Supreme Court order to release selected 9,636 low risk non-violent prisoners because of prison overcrowding so that they could be used as free slave labor in wilderness fire fighting, one of the most dangerous and deadly jobs in the world. The prisoners received minimal or no training in a job where paid firefighters must have a Firefighter 1 certification plus wildland firefighting training from a state-approved academy just to become an apprentice. Most firefighters have at least two years of college and an associate degree. This free undertrained slave labor was provided to protect the profits of California energy companies (including PG&E) that were major campaign donors for Harris’ election campaigns.

Please don’t even start to pretend that the Democrats are any less cruel or fascist than the Republicans and Elon Musk.

American health care (RomneyCare) is so bad that people widely support Luigi Mangione as an American hero in the style of Jesse James.

Technically it can still be a crime even though the person killed was a criminal who ordered the deaths of more than 6,000 Americans a year.

Billionaire CEOs like Elon Musk are now frightened of other people holding them accountable.

We need a jury made up of people who honestly want to hear the evidence to determine if Luigi Mangione is a criminal or a hero because they do not yet know the answer. That would be a fair trial.

I am afraid that the same nation that conducted a mass execution of innocent Dakota (because of Abraham Lincoln’s racist Christian bigotry) wants to murder Luigi Mangione on behalf of the billionaire oligarchs.

The Biden administration could have prevented the killing of Brian Thompson (CEO of UnitedHealthcare) by simply prosecuting the man and sentencing him to life in prsion without the possibility of parole (I do not believe in the death penalty or imprisonment at hard labor).

The Guardian reported that Elon Musk met with Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, and Nick Candy, new treasurer for the party, at Donald Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago. There are discussions on the possibility that Musk might fund Reform UK in a similar manner to the way Musk funded Trump’s election campaign.
